Having visited various parts of the country over my lifetime, I have a true appreciation for the sheer beauty of New England. Even a stormy day can yield stunning scenes if you are willing to put yourself in a place to witness them. These and many more photos were taken in early November, 2009 while my wife was working at a flu clinic in South County, Rhode Island.
Welcome!
Over the last several months I’ve contemplated what I should do with my website, as many options seemed too cold, or impersonal. My working methodology is more organic and is tailored to each sitting, assignment, or independent project. A passionate photographer, I would be out shooting regardless if I would be getting paid to do so or not. I have thousands upon thousands of photos that haven’t been published on the web that I may out into separate collections in the coming months from throughout Southeast Michigan and the greater New England area. Understanding fully that my vision and that of a client may differ, I back my work with an open mind, flexibility, and technical knowledge to pull off almost any concept. I also understand all too well that budgetary constraints may make professional photography for your needs out of reach, but I encourage you to contact me, be frank about what you would like and how much you are willing to invest, and we can likely work something out. I also will barter services in some situations.
Working with me isn’t intense – I’m not a pushy or egotistical photographer. I have a calm and quiet demeanor and working style, even when things go wrong. On nearly every project I work with an assistant or a second photographer to ensure that the shoot goes quickly and smoothly. I hope you enjoy the mix of personal and professional projects that I post here, and encourage feedback.
